Being a manager at Adone

Being a manager at Adone: a multifaceted role!

At Adone, managers wear several hats: they are leaders and experts in their fields and coordinate a range of activities and stakeholders. But they are also hands-on managers, supervising and developing consultants, understanding Adone’s strategy and getting involved in the firm’s development.

In this article, you will discover the responsibilities of managers at Adone, the characteristics of their HR management, and their role within the company.

Management of large-scale projects on assignment with our clients

Today, Adone is the leading European management consultancy in the luxury and retail sectors, carrying out strategic and operational assignments for business and IT departments on projects in e-commerce, data, customer experience, digital in-store, PIM-DAM, PLM, Supply Chain and Green Transition.

As a Manager, you will work independently and in direct contact with our clients on functional development projects, benchmarks on the latest digital innovations, and change management.

The skills of a manager therefore range from mastery of project management tools to knowledge of the stages of the sales cycle, including auditing and process design.

As a Manager, you will have various responsibilities such as:

  • Definition of the project roadmap, budget management, governance principles
  • Pre-sales management: drafting commercial proposals, presentations, contract negotiations
  • Industrialisation of digital innovations: governance, technical foundation, documentation and support
  • Team management, recruitment, staffing, coaching, career development

Internal involvement to promote the firm

In parallel with their assignment at one of our clients, the Manager has the opportunity to get involved internally to promote Adone’s values and contribute to Adone’s development.

The possibilities are varied:

  • Join a Practice community as an expertise leader
  • Participate in the commercial development of the firm, in particular by promoting our areas of expertise.
  • Become an internal programme manager (sports, arts, events, etc.)
  • Join the HR Committee
  • Join the CSR Committee to manage social, environmental and societal projects that are important to you.

You will develop network facilitation skills and become an integral part of the firm’s internal life. This investment will be a real asset in developing your career at Adone.

Managers must possess a range of skills, from integrating into the management community to monitoring the careers of the consultants they supervise.

HR and operational support for consultants

Being a manager is good, but being a manager at Adone is even better! Managers are involved in dual management:

  • HR Management: monitoring the careers of consultants under your responsibility and providing them with a career path.
  • Operational Management: providing operational support to your team.

The Manager must be competent in various areas, ranging from their ability to make the decisions necessary to carry out their mission while taking into account the firm’s challenges.
